We Are Back - Sydney Authors Inked Upcoming Events 2025

Following a short hiatus, I am thrilled to inform you all that ‘Sydney Authors Inked’ are back.

We are a collaborative of authors local to Sydney, Australia. We provide a platform for authors to connect, share resources, and promote their work. We organise author events such as inspiring interviews and book readings.

We have some wonderful events happening in the coming months.

The first is our ‘Writers at the Pub’ events. What is more Australian than an author event held at a pub? Starting in August, on the first Wednesday of the month, a wonderful author will either be interviewed or give a talk about their writing journey. The author will also have their books for sale at the event.

Maria P Frino will host the first event from 1400-1530 in the lovely Residence Room, upstairs at The Oxford Hotel Drummoyne.

We will also be hosting a wonderful week of book readings at The Lyox Gallery Drummoyne (next to the Oxford Hotel) from 1400-1500 during the week beginning Sunday day 20^th July.

Sunday 20^th July will feature Anna Ceguerra- Author of Gentle Science Fiction

Monday 21^st July will feature Sylvia Petter – Author of Historical Fiction

Tuesday 22^nd (There will be no reading, but the amazing gallery will still open to browse)

Wednesday 23^rd July will feature Mario P Frino – Author of Contemporary Fiction

Thursday 24^th and Friday 25^th will feature Conchita GarSantiago – Author of Historical Fiction

Saturday 26^th July will feature yours truly – Hayley Walsh- Author of Lighthearted fiction
